Cerebral Hemorrhage Causes Woman's Death
Mrs. Naomi Tharp, 71, died suddenly following a cerebral hemorrhage at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday in the home of her son, Fred Tharp, 326 S. McDonel-st.
She was born in Somerset, Pa., and had lived in Lima for the last 35 years. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church.
In addition to the son, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Walker, of Somerset, Pa., and Mrs. G. L. Mong, of Goldsbury, N.C., and three brothers, Ed H. Walker of Somerset, Samuel G. Walker, of Hicksville, Ga., and William Walker, of Macungie, Pa., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bethany Lutheran church with the Rev. W. W. Ebert, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery.
