Naomi Linton Sargent, 94, of 700 Bower Hill road, Pittsburgh formerly of Washington, died Sunday, February 2, 1975 at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist Home, Mr. Lebanon.
She was the daughter of Mahlon and Elizabeth Cleaver Linton, and spent most of her life in Washington.
She was a graduate of Washington Female Seminary and was a founder of the Washington YMCA.
She was a member of the Southminster Presbyterian Church and was the oldest living past president of the Pennsylvania State Medical Auxiliary.
Surviving are a brother-in-law, Morris G. Taylor of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Lulu Sargent of Beallsville; two newphews, Dr. Jess Pennington of Edgewood, William Stroud of Greensburg; five nieces, Mrs. William C. Booth, Greensburg; Mrs. Graydon Smith of Bethel Park, Mrs. Vlad Dupre of Bethesda, Md., Mrs. Tyson Beazly of Hamilton, Ohio, Mrs. Samuel Van Emmon of the state of California; 21 grandnieces and nephews.
Her husband, Dr. Laurrie D. Sargent, is deceased.
