Nanno is a WW2 hero. He survived 332 day's of fighting from the invasion in Normandië to Tjechoslavakia. He was honored with the Bronze Star, the Invasion Arrowhead and all of the 5 Battle Stars (for Normandië, Northern-France, Ardennen, Rhijnland and Central-Europe) The French War Cross he received from Charles de Gaulle He married with Alice Coehoorn and they got 9 children.
