Obituary:
HOUSLEY.--Died, at the home of Ira Broyles, Chucky City, Tenn., on the 30th day of June, 1905, Nancy Margaret Housley, aged ninety-one years and one month. She was married to Howell Housley, September 9, 1834, in Elizabethton, Tenn. She made a profession of religion at Turkeytown Campground, Tenn., in the year 1830. She joined the Methodist Episcopal Church and ever after lived the life of an upright and faithful Christian. She was the mother of eleven children, five sons and six daughters, eight of whom still survive her. She was buried at Philadelphia Church, near Chucky City, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. Sharp. B.F. Housley.
