This Nancy is usually shown as Nancy Tomlin, but the marriage record shows her as being age 20 and surname Morrow. The 1880 census has an elderly Isom and Polly Tomlin living in the household of Frank and Nancy which is probably where people assume they are her parents. Another problem with this assumption is Isom Tomlin gives a birthplace that doesn't match where Nancy says her father was born.
