She made her home on a farm east of Granger even after the death of her husband a few years ago.

She was universally respected, and prided herself on being a good neighbor and friend to everyone who knew her.

She leaves to mourn, two daughters: Mrs. Katie Higginbotham of Salem, Oregon and Mrs. Ada Powell of Gallup, New Mexico. There were three children who preceded her in death.

She also leaves to mourn, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. There are also three sisters: Maude Simpson of Seattle, Washington; Hannah Williams of Twisp, Washington and Alice Loney of British Columbia.

The out of town relatives who attended the funeral were, Mr. & Mrs. Vern Higginbotham of Salem, Oregon; Mrs. Rilla Reindl of Chicago; and Mr. & Mrs. John Rose of Ft. Madison, Iowa.
