Obituray - Mrs. Mary Jenkins Van Alstyne -- Mrs. Mary M. Jenkins of Van Alstyne, 80-year-old housewife, died Wednesday at the home of her daugher in Van Alstyne. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Tarrant of the First Baptist Churh will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins was bon in Texas, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Kenner, and married Homer C. Jenkins on October 18, 1925 in Trenton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Alstyne. Surviving are her son, Raye Jenkins of Van Alstyne; daughters, Mrs. Pansy Gaddy of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Pat Jay of Denison; sisters, Mrs. ruth Rigsby of Howe, Mrs. Ruby Helms and Mrs. Cloe Boyner, both of McKinney, Mrs. Bonnie Rutherford of Celina and Mrs. Dorothy Wilson of Princeton; brothers, James Kenner of Winnsboro and Wade Kenner of Celina; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. the family will be a the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and other times as the Pansy Gaddy residence, 304 N. Preston. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O. Box 2283, Sherman.
