Funeral services for Myrtle Irene Saunders-Dible, 92, of Fulton Manor, Wauseon, Ohio and formerly of Adrian, Ohio, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2005 at Memorial United Methodist Church, Carey, Ohio, the Rev. Brett Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2005 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, Ohio; and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Mrs. Saunders-Dible died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Fulton Manor. She was born November 24, 1912, in Adrian, Ohio to Minor and Bertha (Meeker) Crumrine, and they preceded her in death. She married Thomas Saunders, and he also preceded her in death, as did her second husband, Charles Dible. Survivors include one son, Thomas Saunders of Winter Springs, Florida; one daughter, Kay (Kenneth) Ladd, Wauseon, Ohio; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Karl Crumrine; and a sister, Mabel Crawford. Mrs. Saunders-Dible was a retired school teacher having taught at Mohawk Public Schools, McCutchenville Public School and Carey Public Schools. She was a 1929 graduate of Carey High School, attended Bowling Green Teaching School, and graduated in 1960 from Bowling Green State University. She was also a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey, Ohio, Memorial United Methodist Women and the past Rebekeh Lodge. Memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church.
