Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the North Loup SDB church for Mrs. Myra Hutchins, 84 year old widow and grandmother, who died Friday, October 8, at the home of a daughter in Gary, Ind.
Reverend Francis Saunders officiated. Pall bearers were Arthur Stillman, George Clement, Aubrey Davis, Cecil Severance, Vernon Williams and Edgar Davis. Interment followed in the Hillside cemetery at North Loup.
Mrs. Hutchins was born Myra Crandall September 8, 1867 at Alfred, New York. She moved to North Loup in 1881 when her father was called to serve as pastor at the SDB church. She was married to Guilford L. Hutchins December 20, 1890. He died July 26 this year. Following her husband's death Mrs. Hutchins made her home with a daughter.
She was a charter member of the Nolo club and a member of the SDB church since baptism in 1887.
She had five children. Two survive. They are: Mrs. Inez Fox, of Gary and a son George of Kansas City; five grandsons and one great-grandchild.
