Murphy M. Price, 85, of the Golden Age Nursing Center in Jena,died at 7:15PM, Thursday, July 1, 1993, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. Born at Pritchard on September 9, 1907 to the union ofJames and Mary Johnson Price. He was a retired owner of a service station and member of Aimoch Baptist Church. Services were held at 2:30PM, Saturday, July 3 at Aimoch Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Doughty and Paul Havener officiating. Burial followed in theSpring Ridge Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral HomeInc. of Jena. Survivors include three sons, Briscoe Price of Raleigh, Miss., James Price and Deryl Price, both of Aimwell; one sister, Velma Stone; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
