Les Jacka said that Jack Williamson's father was a tailor in Hamilton's main street (Beaumont St.?).
(Research):Moss Williamson's business was along side Craig's Hotel. Craig's hotel was called the "Castle", and is one of the landmarks of York, having been started in 1853. It is now considerably enlarged and has engulfed the site of the tailor's shop.
