Moses Tullis served in the Revolutionary War as a Private in Capt. Bloomfield's Co., Dayton's NJ Batallion. He enlisted Feb. 21, 1776. He was promoted to Corporal by the time he appeared in a Co. Muster in garrison at Mt. Independence on Feb 23, 1777. He served in this unit with his half-brother, William Tullis, who died at Mt. Independence in January 1777.
