[a15301.FTW] GEN: Methodist Minister in Bridgeport Harrison VA/WV GEN: Will of Mose Starr Date Arpil 13, 1810 and Proved July 1810 I Moses Starr of Harrison County and State of Va. do hereby make by last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say: 1st. I desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. 2nd. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to my wife Elizabeth Starr the plantation I now live on until my son Moses Starr arrive to the age of twenty one togehter with all my personal estate not otherwise herein after directed. 3rd. I give to my son Benjamin Starr two notes of eight dollars due from Jermiah Starr unto him and his heirs forever. 4th. I give to my son John, one sorrel mare colt rising two years old to him and his heirs forever. 5th. I give to my daughter Margaret Randolph one heifer of a year old to her and her heirs forever. 6th. not in my information?! 7th. I give to my daughter Sarah Nutter two sheep to her and her heirs forever. 8th. I give to my son Moses Starr one black mare rising three years old together with my saddle and when he arrives to the age of twenty one I give to him the plantation I now live on together with all my farming utensials to him and his heirs forever for which consider he the siad Moses Starr shall maintain his mother decently natural life ,and at her decease bury her decently and such personal estate as then remain. I give to him the said Moses Starr to him and his heirs forever but and if my wife Elizabeth Star sees it best to live elsewhere then my son Moses Starr is to pay her ten dollars yearly her natural life for her third of the plantation to be paid in grain or property and when she leaves my son Moses Starr I give to him the said Moses Starr all of my personal estate that here remains to him and his heirs forever except to my wife Elizabeth Starr I still give to her one horse of her choice and two cows, her bed and bedding , one large chest with drawers, her wheels and real together with two thirds of the pot mettle and dresses, furniture and one third of the hogs and sheep, the same at her disposal at her decease. 9th. I give to my daughter Elizabeth Starr one horse creature worth fifty dollars in trade. One cow, one feather bed and bedding, tow good ewes, to be paid at her marriage or at the years of twenty one to her and her heirs forever and lastly I do hereby constitute my wife and my son Joh Starr and my son Moses Starr executors of this my last will and testamen hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my ahdn and affixed my habnd and seal this thirteenty day of April one thousand eight hundred and ten. Signed, sealed ;and delivered as and for the last will and testament of the above named Moses Starr in presence of us. I utterly fordid and appraisement or sale.
