- ↑ MF5G, Vol. 8 (Degory Priest), p. 116, makes a contradictory statment that Moses' second wife Molly "died after the 1800 census of Dublin", but he "married third, 23 April 1795, Lucy White". Since only the head of household was mentioned in the census record, the census could not show who his wife was (except perhaps by careful inference based on age of wife is the two candidates varied widely in age). But later in the text is mentioned a support agreement in 1800 by step-son Moses Riggs to care for Moses Pratt and wife Molley. Actually this agreement is in 1796 (Cheshire deed Vol. 26, p. 437, still sufficient to invalidate the 1795 marriage). But it also turns out that another deed (Vol. 35, p. 77) was executed by Moses Pratt and wife Molley 21 Apr 1800 that supports that Molley was indeed alive in 1800.
The marriage to Lucy White may well be Moses' son named Moses, born 1770 or 1771, as the marriage shown for the son in this MF5G book (Jemima Woodward) probably belongs to a different Moses Pratt (at least, according to History of Fitzwilliam, p. 680, but this has not been thoroughly researched).
