While the actual relationship of my ancestor, Tilman L. Oliver (1827-1871) to Moses and Charity Oliver remains a mystery, a number of factors lead me to believe they are closely related. If Tillman, the son of Moses and Charity, was their second-born, as indicated by the order in which their children were listed in "Henry County Tennessee History and Families", then Tilman L. Oliver was probably a grandson. If someone can help, please do!
