Moses McKeown died in Brooke Dec 3, 1935. According to an obituary, he was born in Ireland, and came to "this country when but a young man". He farmed for several years in Euphemia Township, Lambton County, Ontario later moving to neighbouring Brooke Township. At the time of his death, he was "predeceased by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Abner Short, and two sons Thomas and Watson", and survived by three sons: John McKeown, at home, William McKeown, London, and David McKeown, Detroit.
