BIOGRAPHY: Louis Paul Hennefeld <hennefeld@earthlink.net> Moses Knight, Jr. is my GG grandfather. He was born 24 Mar 1814 in Hartford, Washington, NY. He is in the 1820 & 1830 census of Hartford living with his parents. His wife Phidelia Arzilla Swift was born 24 March 1822, in the town of Cazenovia, Madison, NY, her parents were Philander Swift & Arzilla Edgbert. Don't know when or where Moses & Phidelia were married. They are in the 1840 & 1850 census of Conesus, Livingston, NY. They had two daughters: Lucinda Knight [my great grandmother] born in Conesus 2 Nov 1840, she married Thomas Frank Wright, 14 Jan 1857, by JP in Henry, Marshall, IL, Orphena Knight born in Conesus, 13 Aug 1847. She never married. Moses & Phidelia Knight, are next found in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 census of Wheatland, Bureau, IL. When they died in 1888, they were living in Whitefield Corners, Marshall, IL.
