While this useful article points many errors in various vital records pertaining to the Barron family, it seems to have messed up this particular family. It ignored the Chelmsford record above^S1, applying it to none of the families, and places the John born in Groton in 1669 into this family, even though it had already used that same date for Moses the son of John. Thus it leaves this Moses without a known birthdate, even though his age at death matches this Chelmsford record. It appears most likely that the reference to "Elyas" on the county copy of the records is an error, and otherwise, the Chelmsford record is correct.
