Buck and Gertie had no children. Buck was long-time horse expert at IA State Fair Ground stables, but retired from Wm. Bros. Pipeline. See photos. He served military (I think Army Air Force, WWII). See photos. There were many personal contacts between this author and Buck and "aunt" Gertie in Des Moines, IA during the 1960s in particular. Buck was a pallbearer for Rob Braught's wife, Cleo Ruth in Dec. 1976. Gertie reported that Buck had been baptised about 1920 at Des Moines, IA St. Mark's Episcopal church (later burned with records lost), but on June 2, 1977 her transferred to Grant Park Christian in DM. We could find more data about Buck in Des Moines Directories and Census as well as Iowa Fair Grounds records, etc.
