There is no reason to not believe the birth record, and one would expect a child born about this point in time, but there are many errors among records marked "Town copy with additions", not being contemporary records. No such daughter is listed in Source:Ward, Andrew Henshaw. Ward Family, p. 57, nor Source:Jackson, Francis. History of the Early Settlement of Newton, County of Middlesex, Massachusetts, from 1639 to 1800, p. 434.
