  6. The will of Nathaniel Taft names a daughter Mary Taft, and then names "three youngest daughters Lydia Molly and Metndia". This is in addition to the Mary that is one of his six oldest children. The two Mary's are distinct children in the Richmond records, in different marriages, but there is no record of Molly (or the child presumed to be Melinda). The second Mary and Molly (called Mary 2nd and Polly in Source:NEHGS Nexus (New England Historic Genealogical Society), Vol. 13, p. 197) appear to be distinct daughters based on the bequests and wording of the will, and based on the order named, Molly would be younger than Lydia, presumably coming after Rufus, the child where the town records stop recording births in this family.
