WATFORD GUIDE ADVOCATE 21 MARCH 1941 LIZA (Campbell) ANNETT [excerpt] Mrs. William Annett, 67, one of the most highly respected residents of Alvinston, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Harper, Sarnia, on Friday evening, following an illness of several weeks duration. The deceased, whose maiden name was Miza Campbell, was born in Brooke township, a daughter of Scottish parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Neil Campbell. She resided on the home farm until her marriage to her husband, who survives, in 1897 following their marriage; they took up residence on a farm on the corner of Highway 79 and the tenth concession Brooke. About twelve years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Annett sold their farm, and moved to Alvinston, where they have since resided. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Ethel and Velma, Windsor; Mabelle, at home, Marguerite (Mrs. Lloyd Harper), Sarnia; also two brothers, John.and Archie Campbell, Alvinston; and six sisters, Mrs. George Hand, Brantford; Mrs. A. J. Hardhill, Long Branch. Mrs. S. F. Harkness and Mrs. A. J. Sargent, London; Mrs. C. Alderman, Glencoe, and Miss Margaret Campbell, Alvinston. The funeral service was held on Monday, at 2.00 p.m. in the Alvinston Presbyterian church in charge of Rev. R. T. Rutherdale, and interment was in the Alvinston cemetery.
