Crittenden County, Kentucky Deed Book J, pae 602 This indenture made and entered into this 31st day of March 1854 between John Brasher and Betsy his wife, James Brasher, H B Brasher and Nancy his wife, Jesse Hamby and Peggy Hamby his wife late Peggy Brasher, and Jeremiah Hamby and Sally Hamby late Sally Brasher his wife, William Brasher, John Brasher, and James * Brasher , heirs at law of William Brasher, deceased, Benjamin Gains and Narcissa his wife late Narcissa Brasher, William Gaines and martha Gaines late Martha Brasher and Marinda ** Brasher, heirs at lawa of Alexander Brasher deceased, all of the County of Crittenden and State of Kentucky of the one part, and Mitchel Brasher of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the fact that in the lifetime of our father Thomas Brasher deceased it was his intention to convey a certain tract of land (herinafter described) to Mitchell Brasher and for the further consideration of one dollar to us in hand paid by the said Mitchell . . . a certain tract . . . lying partly in Caldwell and partly in Crittenden County of the State of Kentucky, and bounded as follows, to wit . . .
