Case 53143: Shepardson, Jonathan. Royalston. 1805.

On 20 Sep 1805, Miriam Shepardson and Miriam Shepardson Junr gave a receipt to John Shepardson as executor of Jonathan Shepardson's estate.
[Note: this is mentioned to refute a widely repeated assertion that Jonathan and his wife Miriam both died the same day, 3 Dec 1804 (e.g., Source:Shepardson, Francis Wayland. Shepardson Family, p. 6; Source:Caswell, Lilley Brewer. History of the Town of Royalston, Massachusetts, p. 276). Clearly Miriam did not, and no evidence has been found to confirm that Jonathan did, though he clearly died before 20 Sep 1805.]
