OBITUARY FROM BURLINGTON TIMES-NEWS: Minnie Shoffner Davis SNOW CAMP — Mrs. Minnie Shoffner Davis, 85, of 6236 Friendship-Rock Creek Road, died at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health, one week critical. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Leroy Davis, and the daughter of the late Lemuel N. Shoffner and Ida Isley Shoffner. She was retired from textile manufacturing and the Davis Service Station. She attended Friendship United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Mr. Ronnie Lee Davis of Snow Camp; two sisters, Mrs.. Eunice S. Holt of Burlington and Mrs.. Nettie S. Branson of Graham; two grandchildren, Janet Davis Byrd and Jennie Davis Maultsby; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Dean Shoffner. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Alvin Horne, pastor of Friendship United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of the son, Ronnie Davis, 7813 N.C. 49 South, Snow Camp
