Mrs. J.H. Boothe died Tuesday night at twelve o´clock at their home to the southeast of Spur, her remains being interred Thursday in the Spur cemetery, funeral services being conducted at two o´clock in the afternoon at the Christian Church. Mrs. Boothe had been critically ill for seven weeks before death came in her relief. She was carried to Lubbock for special treatment and everything possible was done in the hopes of relieving her condition, but to no avail. Mr. and Mrs. Boothe had one little daughter, 3 years old.

The Texas Spur joins friends in extending sympathy to Mr. Boothe and family in their bereavement.
