Charlotte Observer, The (NC) - August 12, 2004 Deceased Name: Frances Euliss Frankie Isley Graham NC United States Frances Euliss Isley 'Frankie' GRAHAM -- Mrs. Isley, of 112 West Gilbreath Street, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004, when the Lord called His faithful servant Frankie home to heaven. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Walter M. Euliss Sr. and Mrs. Erna Evans Euliss. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Johnnie Wade Isley, six brothers and one sister. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Edwards (Darwin) of Graham; two sons, Johnny 'John Boy' Isley (Eve) of Charlotte, and Joel Isley (Erika) of Snow Camp, NC; step daughter, Patsy Allen (Delbert) of Graham; four grandsons, two step granddaughters, four step great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren. Frankie was a charter member of Andrews Memorial Baptist church. She worked for 23 years at the Andrews Memorial Readiness School and served as Choir Director at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church for over 50 years. She sang in the Rainbow Trio and several other groups for many years. She also was a pianist for many groups, including Rest Home Ministries, Golden Agers, and all the area funeral homes. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Willis and Rev. Joel Isley officiating. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church, 301 West Elm Street in Graham. The family will also receive friends at other times at the residence, 112 West Gilbreath Street, Graham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Foundation for Education of Children with Down Syndrome, P.O. Box 472532, Charlotte, NC 29247, or to the Andrews Memorial Baptist Church Music Ministry. Arrangements by McClure Funeral Service, Graham. References
