After Stephen's death, Minnie took on boarders to make ends meet. In 1930, this was the Crider family: Joseph A., Martha and son, Joseph.

Later, Minnie's boarders were Burt, his wife Eileen (?), and their daughter (?) They lived downstairs. Mrs.Watson and Margaret Watson lived on the top floor. Margaret had only a secretary's income so Mrs. Watson cooked the meals for all three of them as her part of the rent. You had to go to the back door to get into Minnie's living quarters. Minnie knitted one sweather after another donating them to the service men in WW2.

Margaret married late in life (~1946) and moved to L.I. (Westbury-Levittown way) with her husband Joe and their twins (sons I think) adopted thru the catholic church.

As for Stephen... he was Minnies husband of five years and yes they lived in that house on 44th I believe... one block over and one block down from Baba. I wish I knew what job he had but I don't. I think Stephen died of a long illness
