Mrs. Minnie Hotchkiss Weaver, 87, former Gainesville resident, died yesterday (June 9, 1970) in King Manor Nursing Home in Warsaw. She had been there four years. Born in Centerville, she had resided in Gainesville until 1941 when her husband, John, died. Six years later she married Dorance Weaver and moved to Delevan. His death occurred in 1958. She then lived with a daughter in Freedom. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Edson Latham of Norwich, Mrs. Bayard Bliss of Freedom, Mrs. Harold York of Rochester and Mrs. Howard Wallace of Castile; a son, Merlin Hotchkiss of Perry; two stepsons, Ora Weaver of Delevan and Stewart Weaver of Fillmore; three sisters, Mrs. Grant Webster of Perry, Mrs. Leon Rice of Rush and Mrs. Merton Hatch of Centerville; two brothers, Alfred Beardsley of Canisteo and Charles Beardsley of Fillmore; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. The service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home in Perry. Burial in Alger Cemetery at Hume.
