A Death notice was published in the New York Times newspaper, dated 3 October 1947. It reads:

“MRS. WILLIAM SEAVER SCARSDALE, N.Y., Oct. 2—Mrs. Minerva Ray Seaver, wife of William P. Seaver, an architectural engineer associated with housing agencies of the government in Washington, died here last night in her home at the Northgate Apartments on Garth Road after a long illness. Her age was 65.”
