  15. "Minerva L. Ritter daughter of William and Maria Pruden was born inSeneca County, Ohio, April 11, 1845, and died August 27, 1924, aged 78years, for months, and 16 days. She came with her parents to SteubenCounty when eight years of age. She was married to Henry Ritter June12, 1870. To this union were born 15 children, eight dying in infancy.Those left to mourn their loss are her husband and 1 sister, sevenchildren, 31 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of otherrelatives and friends. The children are; Ella Ross, of Louisville,Kentucky; Nellie slick, of Hemlock, Michigan; Martha Porter, of Metz,Indiana; Lucy Cooley, of Fruitport, Michigan; John, of Angola; LovinaCooley, of Fruitport, Michigan; and I. D., at home. Funeral serviceswere conducted at Mount Zion, Saturday afternoon. August 30, Rev. J. O.Rose officiated. The remains were related to rest in the nearbyCemetery."
