The Ada Evening News Fri Aug 22, 2008, 10:30 AM CDT MILTON JACKSON KONAWA — Services for Milton Jackson, 79, Konawa, are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa. Gene Reeves will officiate. Burial follows at New Bethel Cemetery, Byng. Mr. Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at an Ada hospital. Mr. Jackson was born on Dec. 29, 1928, in Powell, Okla., to Clyde Jackson and Eolian Young Jackson. He served during the Korean War as a member of the 45th Infantry Division of the Army National Guard. He was a rancher. He married Mary Sue Austin on March 22, 1963, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Jackson of the home; a son, Clay Milton and wife Sarah of Stillwater; a daughter, Angela Sue Jackson Delk and husband, Michael of Oklahoma City; a sister, Letha Mae Meyer of Bethany; three grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, and Harrison Jackson; three step-grandchildren, Ben, Bethany and Angie Delk. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Eolian Jackson; three brothers, Harty Lee, Bill, and Jack Jackson; three sisters, Helen Silva, Clara Keyes, and Pat Liticker; and two infant sisters, Virginia Ruth and Baby Jackson.
