    Obituary:

Milo Burr Lipscomb, Jr. (Mike), Child of the Covenant, began rejoicing in his new home early on the morning of October 21, 2010. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love, but his passion and stories live on in the hearts of each person he touched. He reveled in the richness of God’s Grace while he savored the blessings each moment brought to his life. His loving heart nourished a profound faith and an unparalleled joy in other people. Whether he was working at Keeler Brass, tutoring children in Southern California, or helping people attend chapel at Raybrook, his dedication complemented his delight. His wife of 61 years, Patricia (Datema), his daughters, Martha and Sara, his son, Mark, and son-in-law, Brit Groom, will host a visitation (10:30—Noon) at the Chapel of LaGrave Christian Reformed Church, Saturday, October 23, 2010. The memorial service led by Reverend Don Klop will follow at 12:15. A light lunch at the church will be served immediately after the memorial service. The burial will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, we know that a gift to Faith Hospice, Holland Home or any organization which nourishes and supports children would please Mike enormously. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4
