Someone had put up a newspaper article on ancestry listing M M Clough editor of Abercrombie Herald united in marriage to a Lou Johnson on April 8, 1897 by Justice of Peace.

Another shared a long typed story about Milo M Clough the editor and proprietor of the Abercrombie Herald. Instructor/teacher in a school, and he had been a principal of a school. Attended University of Des Moines, IA. Inventive and obtained a patent for a check rover in 1883 and sold the rights for a large sum of money. He married first to Tilda Sime, she died March 27, 1896 and they had twin daughters Matilda Mary and Tillie Marie. The persons source was Compendium Of History And Biography Of North Dakota PUB. 1900. It is a long typed document and very informative. I have just picked up some high lights of it.

Also some notes listed on this one indicated he moved to Conway, MO. came into land and money when his father died. A daughter Sadie had uncovered a scandal that indicated he was involved in murder.
