I don't have documentation for Miles W. What I do have I got from someone else and I don't think it's correct unless there are two Miles W. Harts. This Miles W. they show as having died in 1874 at age 4! I have an 1850 census record for a Miles W. Hart, living in Shelby Co., IL; wife Nancy and a boy named Andrew Acres, 11.

Here's an e-mail I received from a fellow who has a tree on ancestry.com: Here are some notes I have on Miles W. Hart: Miles W. Hart mustered on August 9, 1862 at Paradise Township, IL (Coles Co.); served with the 123rd Illinois Regiment of Volunteer Infantry; and resigned on January 23, 1863. He was listed as married and a resident of Windsor Township in Shelby Co., IL.

The 1850 U. S. Census taken August 27, shows a Miles Hart (55-NC) listed as "farmer" and living in Cochran Grove, IL (Shelby Co.) with wife Nancy (45). [IT IS MOST LIKELY Miles worley Hart because there is an AARON HART (49) living next door. Miles Worley Hart had a brother named Aaron, age would be about 49.]

1860 Ash Grove, Shelby Co., IL; farmer, with nephew Andrew J. Acres (11-KY) living with them 1870 Ash Grove, Shelby Co., IL; farmer, with E. McHenry (9-IL) living with them 1880 Dexter Township, Cowley Co., KS; age 84 and listed as uncle, living with William L. and Susan Reynolds

Miles W. Hart is buried in Zion Hill Cemetery, Paradise Township, IL (Coles Co.).
