Mildred M. Krumrine, 87, of 1413 Baltimore Pike, died suddenly at 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at her home. She was the wife of the late Burnell A. Krumrine Sr. who died March 5, 1979.
Born Jan. 31, 1910, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Oliver J. and Annie Mae (Reichart) Unger.
She had been employed by the former Middleburg Manufacturing Co. for 20 years. She was then employed by the former Sylvania Shoe for 25 years, retiring in 1975. In 1980, she went to work for Hanover Potato Products where whe was employed at the time of her death.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, served as a president of the Delta Alpha Circle and for 60 years took care of the communion table at the church.
Surviving are a son, Robert L. Krumrine of McSherrystown; six grandchildren ; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Burnell A. Krumrine Jr.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, at the First United Methodist Church, 200 Frederick St., Hanover. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Her pastor, the Rev. Dennis R. Keller, will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Robert Krumrine Jr., Douglas Krumrine, Sunny Blouse, Anthony Thomas, Dwayne Trone and Terry Senft.
