Baldwinsville Gazette & Farmers' Journal, 9 Sep 1926: Miss Mildred Sochia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fabian Sochia of River ST, while on a camping trip to Cleveland NY over the week-end and Labor Day, severely burned her right eye Monday morning when she accidently stuck a hot iron which she was using on the eye ball. She was immediately taken to the Broad Street Hospital in Oneida, where Dr. Crockett attended her. She was able to return to her home here Monday night.
