Mildred Virginia Lauchner, 74, of Springfield died at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Hospice.
She was born April 28, 1917, in Lake Fork, the daughter of Blaine Logan and Iva Virginia Strode Scott. She married Howard Z. Lauchner in 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1985. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Gowin of Dawson and Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Womack of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Betty Harris of Tovey; one brother, Robert Scott of Orange Port, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. E.R. Hellyer officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
