Amelia Hall of Bardney, widow of William Hall, lock keeper, died on 14 March 1879 at Bardney, Lincolnshire, of senectus (old age); the death was registered on 17 March by Ann Scoley of Bardney, who was “present at death”.[5]

- ↑ 6.0 6.1 6.2 At the baptism of her son Henry (in 1818) and daughter Martha (1820), her given name was recorded as “Mildred”. At the baptism of her daughter Emma (1822), her given name was recorded as “Milicent”. In the later census, death, and burial records (beginning in 1841), her given name was recorded as “Amelia”. Because these names are related, they are probably all the same person, and no evidence has been found to indicate that these are different people.
