Mildred Elizabeth Moore

ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Mildred Elizabeth Moore, 94, of Leesburg, formerly of 1420 S. Mock Road, Albany, who died Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Palmyra Nursing Home will be conducted Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. Elder David Harper will officiate.

A native of Fulton County, GA, Mrs. Moore had resided in Albany and Lee County most of her life. She was a homemaker, the widow of John Franklin Moore and a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include a son, Archie Frank Moore of Leesburg; a daughter, Alice Hill of Albany; a sister, Grace Hatcher of Mitchell County; a brother, John Preston Norton of Dougherty County; and nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
