She graduated from Cromwell High School. She was employed at Cromwell State Bank for over 30 years, working her way from Teller to Vice President. Member of Calvary Lutheran Church, where she was the organist for many years. She was a past Matron of the Ligonier Eastern Star. She is buried next to Arthur Carroll Fausnaugh in Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell, Indiana. Obituary from Ligonier Leader: Mildred W Fausnaugh, 70, Cromwell, died Friday in Goshen Hospital following a heart attack July 4. Born May 31, 1913 in Cromwell, she was the daughter of Freeman and Harriett (Maggart) Moore. In 1932 she married Arthur (Carroll) Fausnaugh in Mt. Etna. He died in 1972. She was a lifetime resident of Cromwell and worked as an executive at Cromwell State Bank. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Ligonier OES, Cromwell Business Association and Dorcas Society. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Dowden, Indianapolis, and Gayle Givens, Fort Wayne; one son, Alden, Ligonier; one sister, Lois Harper, Cromwell; one brother, Lloyd, Cromwell; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
