Mildred I. Santhouse, age 88 formerly of Moline, died January 30, 2007 in Morrison, IL. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3rd at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00 until service time. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Mildred was born on June 24, 1918 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Frederick and Pearl Rutledge Howe. She married John Santhouse on June 16, 1959 in Hernando, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1977. Mildred was employed at Servus Rubber for 20 years. She also worked for Franciscan Hospital as a cook for 10 years retiring in 1995. Survivors include her son William and Marlene Lutrell of Washington and her daughter Barbara and Paul DeShane of Viola; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister.
