Mildred Treesh Dies At Her Home Employee Auburn Locker 14 Years and Wife of Ray Treesh Passes Away After One Day Illness Mrs. Mildred E. Treesh, age 64, wife of Ray E. Treesh of Rt 3, Auburn, died at 11 a.m. Friday following a one-day illness. The cause of death was not reported. Mr. and Mrs. Treesh had resided on County Rd 34 three miles north of Auburn for the past 30 years. The bado was removed to the Dilgard & Kline Funeral Home in Auburn where friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Carl O. Wirey, associate pastor of the First Methodist church in Aburn. Burial will be in the Cedar Chapel cemetery southwest of Auburn. A native of Wood County, OH, Mrs Treesh was born March 3, 1902. Her father, James Hoot, preceded her in death. Her mother, Mrs Mae Geyer Hoot, resides at Betz Convalescent home near Auburn. In a ceremony performed at Albion Dec. 18, 1919, she was married to Ray E. Treesh. Mrs. Treesh was employed for 14 years at the Auburn Locker plant before retiring a year ago. Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Norman Diehm of 908 South Main Street, Auburn; a son, Darrell Treesh of 230 North Clark Street, Auburn; two half brothers Sherman Hoot of Fremont and Blake Hoot of Huntertown; one half sister, Mrs. Florence Simon of Avilla, and six grandchildren. Mrs. Treesh was a member of the Swan Methodist church.


Treesh Mildred E, 64, wife of Ray E. Treesh, R. 3, Auburn, and a half-sister of Mrs. Florence Simon, Avilla, died last Friday at her home. Funeral services were held Monday at Dilgard & Cline Funeral Home in Auburn, and burial was in Cedar Chapel Cemetery. She was a native of Ohio and had resided near Auburn for the past 30 years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Norman Diehm, of Auburn, a son, two half-brothers and six grandchildren. ~ 6-9-1966
