I saw you post on Mildred Patten last week and after checking with my wife Marg, its the same Mildred Patten that I met a few years ago in the home of her daughter Ruth Patten. Marg was a teacher at the school where Ruth and her daughter Carrie-Lynn work. I don't know the family as well as Marg but I did have a couple of grand chats with Mildred on the times we visited there house, she had a great memory. Anyway, have a Happy New Year. Cheers Don.

PATTEN, Mildred Hewitt - Age 91 years (Retired Teacher). Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, December 15th, 1998. Predeceased by husband Cecil and granddaughter Geri-Lynn Patten and great-grandson Christopher Puddester. Leaving to mourn one daughter Ruth Patten; sons: Cecil, wife Barbara, Max, wife Ruth; grandchildren: Keri-Lynn Follett, husband Raymond Hodge, Janice Wadden, husband Bill, Jody Gale, husband Wayne, David Patten, wife Debbie, Donny Patten, wife Jill, Kim Puddester, husband Louis, Lisa Patten and Max Patten; 8 great-grandchildren; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday; 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Thursday; and at Warren`s Funeral Home, Grand Bank, 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Friday. Funeral Service 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19th, 1998 from Grand Bank United Church. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank.
