Irene Lewis Dies in Hospital
Irene Lewis, 67, died Saturday evening after a lengthy illness. She was born May 4, 1893, in Dorrance, Kan., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William [sic.] Crumrine. She married Elmer Lewis at Libby, Mont., in 1925 [sic]. They came to Lewistown and ranched first on Beaver Creek, then on Cottonwood Creek until 1945 when they moved to Lewistown. Her husband died in September, 1954 [sic.]. Survivors include a brother, Clarence Crumrine of Phoenix, Ariz., and a sister, Mrs. Flora Henderson, Kansas City, Mo. Gravestie services will be held at the Lewistown City Cemetery at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Frank Moore officiating.
