Mildred V. Randolph, 81, of Sligo, died Monday, March 19, 2001, at her residence. Born Oct. 20, 1919, in Conneration, she was a daughter of Frank and Della King Conner. Mrs. Randolph was a farmer and homemaker. She was a member of Mount Hope Church of Conneration. Mrs. Randolph enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, baking, gardening and making applebutter. She was married to George L. Randolph, who died in 1973. Surviving are two sons, Lawson G. Randolph of Carson, Calif., and James L. Randolph and his wife, Marjorie, of Summerville; two daughters, Nancy E. Workman of Sligo and Mrs. Fred (Ruthann V.) Terwilliger of Parker; and eight grandchildren including Mrs. Charles (Pamela S.) Kuntz of Everett and Mrs. Dee (Patricia E.) Bell of New Bethlehem, whom she raised; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Homer Conner of Rimersburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Faye) Gray of East Brady and Janet G. Conner of Conneration. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Randolph was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Conner and Wilber Conner; and a sister, Bessie Craig. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Varner Funeral Home of Sligo. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Carl Curfman, pastor of Mount Hope Church of Conneration, officiating. Interment will follow in Rimersburg Cemetery.
