Mildred Few

Fostoria -- Mildred G Few, 101, of Fostoria, died at 3:18 a.m. Wednesda y, Feb. 5, 2003 at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born Sept. 2, 1901 in West Millgrove to Charles W and Dessie (Gra y) Cline. She married Charles C Few on April 12, 1929, and he died Jan. 2 2, 1973.

Surviving is a foster daughter, Ann Bodi, Port Clinton.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman and Donald Cline.

Mrs. Few was a retired school teacher, having taught at Perry Twp Cente r, Fostoria and Risingsun (Lakota) schools.

She was a 1919 graduate of Fostoria High School, and a graduate of Bowli ng Green Normal School, now Bowling Green State University.

She was a member of West Millgrove Congregational Church and its Women's F ellowship, Daughters of Union Veterans and Paramount Garden Club.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barndt Funeral Hom e, Wayne, the Rev. James Holl officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cem etery, West Millgrove.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the church.
