Mildred M. Dietrich, 95, formerly of Kempton, passed away on May 12, 2016, in the Luther Crest Senior Living Community, Allentown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Dietrich, in 1992. Mildred was born in Albany Township, a daughter of the late Amandus and Ella (Lauchnor) Bachman.
She was a graduate of Slatington High School, class of 1938, and the former Allentown Business College.
Mildred assisted in the family business, Bachman's Garage, in Kempton. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run, Pa., and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter #336, Kutztown.
Survivors include a son, Daniel N. and his wife, Ann L. (Herman) Dietrich, of Kempton; two daughters, Louise A., wife of James P. Rutledge, Exton, Pa., and Kathleen Groessbrink, of Verona, N.J.; seven grandchildren, including: Michael, Jeffrey, David and Maria Dietrich, Matthew and Kathleen Rutledge, Joshua Groessbrink; and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Stony Run, PA 19529, with a calling hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Susan M. Horst will officiate. Burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
