Michael Upchurch II, in Surry County, Virginia, seems to have been theyoungest son of Michael and Frances UPchurch. He was first mentionedin records as a tithable at Lawne's Creek Parish Church by hismothers, Frances, on the 12 of June 1683, indicated that he had justreached the age of sixteen. He was listed again as a tithable in 1685and 1688. In 1687 he was in the Militia of Surry County (Surry Co.,Va., Orders, Wills & Deeds). There is no record of a marriage ofMichael II. The last record of him was on the tithe list of 1694 whenhe appeared with Richard Upchurch.
