SLOOT, Michael Andrew Jr. - Following a brief illness, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear son, brother and uncle at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 1st, 2012 in his 44th year. Devoted son of Mike and Agnes (Verbuyst) Sloot of Delhi. Best friend and brother of David Sloot of Fort Erie. Dear brother of Theresa Paret and her husband Christopher of Teeterville. Fun loving uncle to Laura Paret, Kayla Paret and Julia Sloot. Predeceased by his grandparents, the late Florent (1955) & Marie (DeMaere) Verbuyst (1988) and John (1978) & Alida (Speyker) Sloot (2000). Friends are invited to share their memories of Michael with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL , 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, October 5th, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. A private family committal service will be held at the Delhi Cemetery at a later date.
